Dark Licht is a specialist at researching and developing glare free lighting. This required precise optical design to achieve complete light cut-off and no visible trace of the LED (Light Emitting Diode) light sources outside the area of illumination.
What we do:
The Dark Licht lighting philosophy facilitates the creation of the most innovative luminaires in the market.
We maximise luminaire efficiency and light distribution while simultaneously removing unwanted glare. We research and develop high performance optical systems that prevent direct view of the LED (i.e. Light Emitting Diodes) light sources outside the area of illumination. The challenge is to control light so precisely that light cuts off and cannot be seen anywhere, except inside the area being illuminated. This improves visual comfort, visibility and safety
